Forgiving JudasI, Gabriel, descend into the abyss of Hell, leaving behind me the brilliance of hope. I never like the terrible chore of visiting this place with its stale scent of nothingness and the dull, constant, fluorescent tone of light that touches the entire surface. Souls of the bleating masses speckle this flat terrain alone, always lost, always searching. Further down I go, into the Pit of the Abyss. Beneath the surface, which can only be defined as a natural linoleum, is the darkness. In this Pit, as I glide to the Anti-Thrown, there are poor souls gouging their eyes out, peeling back their own nails and skin, tearing out hair in clumps, pulling Forgiving Judas

An AfterlifeThe City is on fire. The men war in the City, making a wrathful dance under its dark blue sky. The women hold their children as the severed families spew their inky, black sorrow into the world, flooding the streets. I see the ground and sky’s darkness blend into one black with fire as the only light to see by. The men all seem like the same silhouettes desperately tearing at twins. I try to find a happy light in the sky, even if it is muffled by smoke, but all that is found is a vacuum where my sun should be.
